Wacoal Europe, formerly known as the Eveden Group, was acquired by Wacoal Holdings Corp, Japan, in 2012 and became a subsidiary of the Kyoto headquartered Wacoal. The Wacoal Group was founded in Kyoto in 1949 by Koichi Tsukamoto with a mission to ‘contribute to society by helping women to express their beauty’. Now the Group is a $2bn global business, with subsidiaries in all major eastern markets and Wacoal Europe and Wacoal America in the west.
